This event is open to any Collegiate, Fitness and/or Club team. To qualify, a Team must pre-register with a minimum of ten competitors and compete in both the 2000m Individual and the 2500-meter Team Relay. If you are challenging for both titles, you must register ten men and ten women.

Teams must have a minimum of 10 competitors and meet the registration
deadline. Each Challenge Event has a men's division and
a women's division each requiring a minimum of 10 competitors. Teams can
compete in either or both divisions.
Challenge Event Prizes:
4 Teams per Challenge: Model D with PM4
3 Teams per Challenge: $500 Team Award
2 Teams per Challenge: $250 Team Award
1 Team per Challenge: $250 Team Award if Relay Record
is Broken

Challenge Rules
Team entries require a minimum of 10 pre-registered participants. Challenge
Teams must compete in both the 2000m Individual and the 2500-meter Team
Relay. If you are challenging for both titles, the team must have a minimum
of ten men and ten women. The respective five best individual times are
averaged from the 2000-meter event to produce Score #1. This is then added
and averaged with the 2500m Relay time (Score #2) of each respective team.
The fastest Final Composite Score is the Men's and the Women's Challenge
winner.
Additional Rely Rules
• If time and space allows, Teams can field more than one relay
squad
• Multiple squads from a team count as one team in the Open
or Youth Challenge.
• Cap Fees will be modified for multiple teams from the same organization
competing in the Open or Youth Challenge
or both.
• Junior teams wising to compete for prizes in the Open
Challenge must submit a separate Team Entry form and meet
all Challenge requirements.

ole friends to join in the fun. This is a great way to get your boosters
involved, shows them the benefits of erging while improving their health
and fitness.
About the Relay
Each competitor will row 500 meters, get off the Erg and pass the handle
to the next competitor until all 5 competitors have rowed for a total
of 2500 meters. One coach and two assistants are allowed in the competition
area to assist. A monitor judge is assigned to each team. It's all in
the transition!
