Adaptive

This is a 500 meter event for all adaptive athletes regardless of impairment or experience.

This is a 1,000 meters adaptive event for those who have competed in a prior indoor rowing event and/or want to compare their performance to competitive standards. Approval required

Supportive equipment will be on hand to meet all needs as will support coaches to 'cox' the competitors through the race.

CreatingAbility Erg Seat
CIRC was one of several partners helping Creating Ability develop this erg seat. It has the advantage if installing within minutes over the C2 sliding erg seat without limiting the slide distance. The end result is a fixed seat that meets the needs of Arms (A), Trunk & Arms (TA) and Legs, Trunks & Arms (LTA) competitors. We have used this seat at CIRC for the last several years where it has easily held up to record setting paces. Furthermore, this seat has attachments that make it ideal for paddlers and kayakers as well whether on land or water.
