Once again the excitement and competitive level was acute to say the least! The final 2500-meter

came down to the 'hand-off' that determined the ultimate winners. Now the rivalry turns to the water
as these teams prepare for the Spring Sprint season.

Men's Division: Northwestern University (NW)
Going into the Challenge Relay, the Lincoln Park Boat Club
held a sizable 6.3 second lead over Northwestern, followed
by the Wheaton College 6.7 seconds back. Having given back a pre-relay
lead in '06, LPBC came out poised and on purpose.Northwesternhad plans of their own and actually won the relay portion of the
Challenge. However, the cushion built by LPBC could not be overcome.
